Serve together.
Serving is our privilege.
We serve humbly and pursue excellence in every opportunity we are given to serve Jesus, our church, our families, and our community.

On the Connections Team, we take great pleasure in opening a way for others to see and experience Jesus. We mirror Jesus’s welcome of us by being loving and hospitable towards others.
We don’t want guests walking aimlessly into our church making random guesses as to where to go first. We engage each guest at the start, walking alongside them into a meaningful and lasting relationship with Jesus and membership at Beacon Hill Church.
For us, this looks like directing people in the parking lot, greeting people as they walk in, helping first-time guests find their way, and more.
-
A majority of Jesus’s ministry while on earth started with great hospitality. We serve and love well because we have first been served and loved well by Christ. When we do these things, we reflect His image with the hope of helping people move toward a relationship with Him.
For us, this looks like creating a welcoming environment in our church and facilitating fellowship through coffee, food, and other opportunities.

Beacon Hill Kids is way more than childcare while the adults have “real” church. We believe that together, we are raising up the next generation of disciple makers and want to partner with parents in introducing the love of Jesus to their kids! We know that with a relationship with Him as their foundation, the sky’s the limit.
After our kids participate in corporate worship with their parents, they learn more about Jesus in a bright, fun, and safe environment through games and an age-appropriate lesson.
As a part of our kids ministry, you have the opportunity to teach the younger generation about God’s love for them!
Kids ministry is for ages infant-5th grade.

Our purpose is to come alongside parents and help accomplish our mutual vision of seeing growth and maturity in Christ in our students. We know that with a relationship with Him as their foundation, the sky’s the limit.
As a part of our youth ministry, you have the opportunity to mentor the younger generation and show them what it means to truly follow after Jesus!
Youth ministry is for 6th-12th grade.

As worship leaders, our role is to help lead people into a place of encounter with Jesus through corporate worship. We do this by facilitating music, prayer, and the reading of God’s word to point people back to Jesus.
We exist to cultivate true worshipers by exalting Jesus Christ and calling our church and city to respond in faith and obedience.
-
We amplify worship. Tech Ministry exists for more than pressing buttons and running cables. Our role helps support the worship team and pastor as they lead others into a place of encounter with God.
“When done well, this can help your community worship God. On the other hand, distractions contained in a poorly designed or poorly executed presentation [or service] will have a negative impact on an individual’s worship experience.” - Church Tech Today, Worship Media Handbook

In the Old Testament, the Tabernacle was a portable tent that housed the Ark of the Covenant, which served as God’s dwelling place as the children of Israel wandered the desert until a permanent building (Solomon's Temple) could be built.
Today, though God’s presence is no longer contained in a building thanks to the work of Jesus on the cross, we still “prepare the tabernacle” for God’s people to come together and be in His presence.
For us, this looks like setting up chairs, the kids rooms, the lobby area, and more.
-
As ushers, our role is to facilitate a friendly and distraction-free environment to allow people to worship Christ.
It goes far beyond just directing people to their seats. As one of the first contacts that a person attending our church will have, we work closely with the Connections Team to make sure everyone who walks through the doors feels welcomed, loved, and properly cared for.
-
Our purpose is to serve and protect all individuals of the church. We provide peace of mind to fellow believers so that they can prepare their hearts and minds to worship Christ and the Father.
We do this by providing a security detail for the main worship center as well as the kids area.

The purpose of the prayer ministry team is to actively encourage and promote prayer within the life of our church. We fervently pray for the growth of God’s kingdom in our city, as well as our members, leadership, and any prayer requests that may come in.
